Head Start Early Childhood Development Coordinator

SENCA Head Start is now accepting applications for a Head Start Early Childhood Development Coordinator at the Central Office in Humboldt. The position will oversee the Education and Special Education components of the Head Start program.  This position is full time, 40 hours a week with the possibility of reduced summer hours in June and July.  Minimum qualifications include: a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, ability to submit timely accurate reports, and proficient computer skills.  Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and random drug & alcohol testing. Head Start Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver - Nebraska City

SENCA is now accepting job applications for a Teacher Assistant/Bus Driver position at our Nebraska City Head Start. Primary responsibility will be to assist the teacher in implementing all activities and services for children and their families in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards. Preferred qualifications include: A Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit in Child Development/Early Childhood Education. If candidate does not meet preferred qualifications, candidate will be required to obtain CDA during first 2 years of employment. Minimum qualifications: must be at least 21 years of age, possess or be willing to obtain a CDL/School Bus Permit, have excellent driving record, and submit to pre-employment drug test and random drug & alcohol testing.
