Southeast Nebraska Community Action Council (SENCA) is now accepting applications for the position of Development Director. This position offers a great opportunity to build your professional career and make a difference in your community. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in marketing / public relations along with a high degree of computer skills and public speaking. The main responsibilities of this position include developing, implementing and coordinating fund development for new programs to advance the well-being of individuals, families and communities in Southeast Nebraska. This includes making regular legislative contacts, attending speaking engagements, the preparation of public relations materials, and the design and maintenance of the agency website. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, AA or BA in marketing preferred.  This is a full-time, salaried position and will based out of the Central Office in Humboldt. Transportation: SENCA is now accepting applications for the position of Substitute Driver for the Richardson County Transit in Falls City. Primary responsibilities will be to drive the agency van as needed to meet appointments, assist passengers to enter and leave vehicle and assist with packages, be responsible for the safety of passengers and maintain passenger and vehicle records. This position is as needed to cover appointments. Minimum qualifications include: must possess and retain a valid drivers license, submit to pre-employment drug test and random drug & alcohol testing, physically able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
