Housing Inspector

SENCA is now accepting applications for the position of Housing Inspector. This person is responsible for initial inspection of eligible participant’s homes to determine which energy efficiency measures are required to bring the home into compliance with program guidelines and specifications. This position will be housed out of the Central Office in Humboldt, NE.  Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Prior experience working in construction, heating and cooling, or contracting preferred. Candidate must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and random drug & alcohol testing. Position is full-time. Sub Cook - Pawnee City

SENCA is now accepting applications for the position of a sub Cook at the Community Action Center in Pawnee City.  Minimum qualifications include: familiarity with acceptable food storage, preparation and service practices, ability to read and perform basic math, experience cooking for large groups, have organizational and time management skills, and must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds. Candidate must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening and random drug & alcohol testing. Previous experience working with senior citizens is highly desirable.
