Otoe County - Justin Gress, Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca High School
Pawnee County- Thomas Smyth, Pawnee City High School
Richardson County - Anastasia Popham, HTRS High School

The SENCA Community Leadership Scholarship was established in 2013. The goal of the scholarship program is to award a $400 scholarship to six graduating seniors each year, one from each of the six counties served by SENCA. Graduating seniors from every school throughout the six county area are invited to apply for the scholarship each year. The scholarship is heavily weighted in community service, including the student's involvement with SENCA related activities such as Head Start, Youth Mentoring, SENCA Smart financial literacy, or volunteering to help with projects such as deliver meals-on-wheels, participate in food drives, ring bells for Salvation Army, etc.

The funding used to provide these scholarships is derived from the annual benefit golf tournament that is hosted each year at Kirkman's Lakeview Golf Tournament northwest of Humboldt. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, June 15th. If interested in participating please contact 402-862-2828.
